The proceeds from the event were directed towards The Queens Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing (QNCH), a newly formed housing co-operative in the Region of Queens Municipality. QNCH is dedicated to the development of mixed-income, affordable, and accessible housing in Queens County, with a particular focus on meeting the housing needs of seniors.

The mission of QNCH revolves around the belief that every resident in Queens County deserves high-quality housing and a place to call home. To realize this vision, QNCH aims to develop 100 units of affordable housing over the next ten years. The initial project, located on Lawrence Street in Liverpool, is well underway and will consist of 26 units of new affordable housing specifically designed for seniors.
This pioneering project incorporates the latest in accessible and universal design approaches to support seniors in aging in place. Additionally, it integrates passive house design elements and construction to achieve energy net zero, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally conscious community.
“We are thrilled with the overwhelming success of the ‘On The Rocks’ Fundraiser and are proud to support the Queens Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing in their mission to provide affordable and accessible housing for seniors in Queens County,” said Andy Lee, General Manager at White Point Beach Resort.
White Point extends its gratitude to all attendees, sponsors, and partners who contributed to making the 14th annual “On The Rocks” Fundraiser a memorable and impactful event. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of seniors in our community.
