Queens Neighborhood Co-operative Housing Ltd. Announces New Provincial Funding for Affordable, Sustainable Senior Housing
We are thrilled to share some exciting news! The Government of Nova Scotia has recently committed funding to support green, affordable housing for seniors, a vital step towards ensuring sustainable and accessible living solutions in Liverpool. This investment aligns with our mission at Queens Neighborhood Co-operative Housing Ltd. to provide affordable and quality housing that supports our community’s needs, especially our seniors.
The funding will allow us to enhance our facilities with environmentally-friendly upgrades, from energy-efficient materials to sustainable infrastructure, which will reduce energy costs and our environmental footprint. It’s an opportunity to improve comfort and affordability for current and future residents.
We are grateful to the province for recognizing the importance of sustainable housing for seniors and for supporting our community’s well-being. With this funding, we are one step closer to creating a model for affordable, eco-friendly housing in Nova Scotia. Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative!
